I hope you enjoyed a safe and Happy 4th of July!
As with so many other thing right now, I know your celebration may have been a bit different this year.
However, I hope you were able to enjoy the day with a few friends and/or family, remembering the meaning for the holiday.
As with last month, we have had to cancel our July in-person events due to the current restrictions on public gatherings.
However, we still want to give shout-outs to them.
We were set to have Coffee with MC at Edward Jones – Stephen Coffey.
Stephen has been working through the current situation. He has continued to be able to help his clients remotely, as well as by appointment in his brand new office. He has spent a great deal of time getting his new space ready to open, and we are sad we had to cancel this event.
However, we WILL be rescheduling so that those who have not already had the chance, will be able to see his new space!
Our Cocktails with MC event was scheduled to take place at Brow Craft Boutique.
Brow Craft Boutique is the premiere destination for permanent cosmetics and advanced beauty treatments.
As Meagan, the owner of the boutique says, they are “changing the world one eyebrow at a time”!
Due to the restrictions on salons such as theirs, the restrictions that have been in place have severely impacted the salon. However, Meagan has used the time to move to a new and improved location and they are open for business again! We cannot wait until we can reschedule and be able to go and check out the new space!
Both of these events were in areas that we haven’t visited yet, so we are bummed to have to postpone, but excited for when we can go and celebrate the recent openings for their new locations, together!
Mimi, of Mixin’ Mimi Mixology, LLC, has been working HARD during these last few months. She has absolutely reinvented and readjusted how she does things to maintain while we aren’t able to safely host in-person events. However, she did take time to share a recipe for one of her signature cocktails that you will definitely want to try! Make sure you are following her on FB and Instagram to find out about some of her virtual classes she has been putting on!

Small business owners are incredibly resourceful and resilient.
While it has been a tough last few months, business owners like these, and ALL the business owners we haven’t been able to visit lately, have been working hard, and, in many cases, reinventing how they do business.
We are so proud of them all!
